Nicole Kidman's Richard Meier designed apartment

If you're in the market for an iconic Richard Meier building you could be in luck - Nicole Kidman has put hers up for sale. The airy 12th floor apartment at 176 Perry Street contains three bedrooms and boasts stunning views. There's no published price but Real Estate agent Mr. Orenstein’s listing describes it thus: clean modern lines, superb luxury finishes and “a dramatic 30-foot entrance gallery—the ideal backdrop for your art collection.”

The listing also informs potential viewers that the views are “mesmerising” and “shimmering” and that the apartment will be “your oasis in the sky.” Nevertheless, this has done little to stop rumours that Kidman is selling up because of another Meier glass tower going up at nearby 165 Charles Street.  If you want to know more about Meier, (who, incidentally, is currently at work on a home for Olympics opening ceremony star Rowan Atkinson in London right now) he's the subject of a rather fine new Phaidon monograph.
