Martin Scorsese, the master of gangland classics, comes to the Port Eliot Festival
The American film legend is curating the Paradiso Outdoor Cinema at this year’s Cornish cultural festival
Martin Scorsese, renowned film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, is curating the Paradiso Outdoor Cinema at this year's Port Eliot Festival (21-24 July). Amongst his selection of film classics is Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest from 1959, starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint and James Mason.
Festival goers can enjoy a series of double-bill films from the comfort of specially designed Cadillac cars, and Scorsese has paired Hitchcock's North by Northwest with another train film classic, Sidney Lumet's 1974 Murder on the Orient Express for a double-billing that will have you on the edge of your Cadillac seat.
