Highlights of John Pawson's recent works, coinciding with a major exhibition at the Design Museum and a new book
In light of the disaster that has struck Japan following the earthquake and tsunami there earlier this month, the British architect John Pawson - who spent several years living in Japan -has designed ribbons to show support for the disaster relief effort.
The white cotton ribbon has a simple red circle printed on one strand, which is emblematic of the Japanese flag. An electronic version of the ribbon design can be downloaded from Pawson's website in exchange for a donation to the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal, and can be attached to emails and websites.
