Icons of an era: classic chair designs
The chair as practical object, style icon, artwork and scientific breakthrough
260 art and antique dealers are making their pilgrimage to The Netherlands for TEFAF (The European Fine Art Foundation) which begins this weekend (18-27 March). Held at Maastricht's MECC the fair will see a wide range of pieces on show, from 16th century furniture to Asian porcelain, textiles, antique jewelry, Renoir paintings and obscure looking scientific instruments. This year's fair promises to be a fascinating one.
