A new collection of jewellery by Tel Aviv-based designer Shirley Itzik challenges traditional concepts of wearing a time piece. The Ruby Star Timekillers range makes the cogs and technical inner workings of watches an accessory in their own right. These exposed pieces are meticulously detailed, creating unusual and intricate designs.

Founded in 2000 by Itzik, Ruby Star jewellery draws on materials, structures and textures derived from different periods throughout cultural history. The Framed collection uses black onyx and gold to create bold yet chic designs with an art deco feel. Each collection represents a new period of exploration for the designer and is produced and fabricated in Tel Aviv.
